Success Stories of IAS Toppers without Coaching

There are many that work really hard and get into their dream job without getting proper coaching done. Let’s have a look at the UPSC topper who did it without coaching!

Kajal Jawla

Kajal Jawla achieved a rank of 28 all over India. She managed to get this rank without going for any coaching. She even worked for 9 hours every day and also led a married life. This was her fifth attempt to clear the UPSC exam and it was definitely worth the wait!

She is a resident of Haryana and worked at an MNC after she completed her engineering. She is married to Ashish Malik. They tied the knot in 2016.

Her biggest challenge was the shortage of time as she did not give her job up and neither did she give up on her family. She was very well supported by her family at every step.

Shivani Gupta

Shivani Gupta was a professional chartered accountant who had decided to appear for the UPSC exam. She got an all India rank of 121 in 2017. This was her very first attempt at the exam, and she cleared with passing colours.

She was a very late starter; she was working at a company and had only 8-9 months to prepare for the exam. This did not allow her to lose hope and give up, instead, she decided to turn things around in her favour and make things happen.

Her strategy was based on taking a lot of mock tests as it helped her to overcome all her difficulties and she could also easily cover up her weaknesses this way.

Revise as much as possible as it will help you to keep all information at bay and again will help you to cover all your weaknesses.
