Assistant provident fund commissioners or in simple words Provident Fund commissioners are Group A services posted in Employment Provident Fund Organization.

An APFC coordinates with the fund managers and also investigates and controls investments inequities through the coordination of various banks.

They also are deputed to foreign countries to carry social security agreements in various nations. They can be employed to serve in international organizations such as the United Nations Development Program, World Bank, or any other Social Security Division.

Many candidates aspiring to try their luck in APFC examinations are waiting for the notifications they are confused about. Often found wondering when the notification will be?

Recently UPSC has disclosed the cutoff marks for the written exam conducted on 10 January 2016.

Brief Insights of 2016 APFC Exam

The UPSC APFC exam was conducted on 10th January 2016 for the recruitment of candidates for 170 posts. The selected candidates were supposed to be recruited in the employee provision fund organization as assistant provident fund commissioner.

A total number of 1,63,316 candidates appeared for the exam. Out of which only 170 were selected as per cutoff. Recently UPSC has updated the cutoff list.
