The exam 2022 online registration period will take place from December 22nd to January 11th, 2022. Online submissions will be approved until 6:00 p.m. on January 11, 2022. Those interested in the positions should apply well ahead of the deadline to avoid any last-minute hassles.

#Read all of the instructions thoroughly before clicking “Yes.”
#You’ll be redirected to a new page where you can begin correctly filling out your information.
#Continue to Part-II after carefully selecting your preferences.
#Pay the application fee in either online or offline mode, as described above.
#Choose the desired examination centre from the drop-down menu.
#As specified in the application form, upload scanned documents.

Exam Criteria 2022
Aspirants must meet the Union Public Service Commission’s eligibility requirements for defence recruitment. Below is a list of detailed eligibility requirements (marital status, age, nationality, education, and sex).

Nationality
A aspirant must be an Indian citizen, a Tibetan refugee or a Nepalese or Bhutanese subject who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of settling permanently, or a person of Indian origin who arrived in Zambia, India from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, Zaire, Tanzania, Malawi, or Vietnam with the intention of settling permanently.
Education Qualifications
#For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy, the aspirant must have a bachelor’s degree (in any subject) from a recognised university or equivalent.
#Aspirants for the Indian Naval Academy must have earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognised institution or university.
#For the Air Force Academy, the aspirant must have a Bachelor of Engineering or bachelor’s degree from a recognised university (with Mathematics and Physics at the 10+2 level).
Age Restriction and Marital Status
#The aspirant should be between the ages of 20 and 24. The official notification pdf contains detailed information about the age limit.
#Only unmarried males are eligible to apply for the examination at Indian Naval Academy and the Indian Military Academy.
#Both married and unmarried males are eligible to apply for the Indian Air Force Academy, but marriage is not permitted during training.
#Unmarried males and females can apply for the examination for Officer Training Academy.
Exam Pattern 2022
To be considered for the interview round, aspirants must pass the CDS Written Examination. Exam patterns for each position are listed below.
#Each paper will contain multiple-choice questions.
#The Elementary Mathematics and General Knowledge question papers will be written in both Hindi and English.
#A wrong answer will result in a 1/3-point penalty.
#Each exam is 2 hours long and has its own duration.

For admission to the Officers’ Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy Indian Military Academy and Air Force Academy the maximum marks allotted to the written examination and interviews will be equal for each course, i.e. the maximum marks allotted to the written examination and interviews will be 200, 300, 300, and 300 respectively.
Syllabus
Candidates preparing for the examination should familiarise themselves with the detailed syllabus and prepare only according to it. The exam will have a Matriculation-level standard in Elementary Mathematics. Other subjects, on the other hand, will have a graduation level of difficulty.
A syllabus is necessary to ensure that candidates do not overlook any important topics in preparation for the upcoming UPSC Examination.

Cut-Off 2020
UPSC publishes Exam cut-off marks on its official website. Candidates must achieve the minimum qualifying marks (i.e., 20 points in each subject) and must score higher than the cut-off marks to be considered for selection. UPSC publishes separate cut-offs for the CDS written exam and the final cut-off. For a reference, look at the previous year’s cut-off marks.
