Principal Chief Conservator of Indian Forest Department

Additional Chief Conservator

Eligibility IFS Officer

To become an IFS officer, one must have a bachelor’s degree in science. However, a scientific degree does not ensure employment in the IFS. One must register for the Union Public Service Commission’s IFS test (UPSC). Written exam prelims, written exam mains, and interviews are the three steps of the recruiting process.
