The UPSC EPFO, also known as the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization was an organization established by an act of the Parliament of India. This organization came into working as a result of the Employees Provident Fund & Miscellaneous Provision Act, 1952.  

This organization comes under the control of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, by the Government of India. There are various schemes under the EPFO:

#2. Pension Scheme 1995

#3. Insurance Scheme 1976

The job of a UPSC EPFO is that one has to maintain the accounts, administration, legal, pension, claim as well as MIS along with taking care of the grievances of the employees.

Will UPSC EPFO be Postponed?

The UPSC EPFO, i.e., the Union Public Service Commission – an organization that conducts the different Civil Services examinations for helping students to pay their contributions towards the various parts of the society. For doing this, students have to go through a series of examinations. 

The UPSC conducts diverse exams for the different posts of the government jobs – to fill the positions of the Enforcement Officer – Accounts Officer Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) in the month of May every year. 

This year the exam is supposed to be held on May 9 but seeking the Covid situation and the ever-increasing cases of the diseases, this might get postponed. 

All those candidates who have applied for the exam can download the UPSC EPFO admit card from the official website of the UPSC, once it has been released.

Yes, the UPSC EPFO Exam is conducted every year by the UPSC. And for this, there are several rules and regulations that a candidate must fit into:

#1. He/ she must be a citizen of India

#2. He/ she must not be more than 30 years of age.

#3. He/ she must have completed his/her graduation.
