What is the meaning of batch in an online course?

A batch is a group of like minded individuals, who will assist each other in the long process of preparation of the UPSC Exam, while preparing themselves. This is based on the proven benefits of group study, in the exams which have large syllabus.

Will there be a teacher?

Yes, there will be a teacher for the group. He will ensure that the group completes its tasks and will take frequent doubt sessions.

What kind of activities does a batch do?

A batch is given a common study plan and on the basis of the study plan, all the members are supposed to help each other understand the course better. They will be given a number of quizzes, spot tests and group assignments to increase the level of understanding.

I wanted to enrol, but the batch has already started. Can I join in between?

No. A batch follows a fixed schedule. Possibility of any midterm enrolments are not there. But we have new batches starting every couple of weeks.

The next batch starts in 10 days. When should I enroll?

The batch strength is fixed. Once a batch gets full, we will not be able to take any more admissions in that. We will advise you to book your seat well in advance to avoid any last minute delays due to non-availability.
