The Combined Defence Services Examination (abbreviated as CDS Exam) is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment into the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy, and Indian Air Force Academy. CDS(I) and (II).
Candidates have to at least graduate to apply. Both men and women can apply for 418 vacancies. Women candidates are only eligible to apply for the Officers’ Training Academy. The competition for women is generally more fierce as there are very few vacancies for them. The results have been declared for this year on 23rd March 2020. This article will take a look at UPSC CDS 1 cut off for 2020 and compare it with previous years.

UPSC CDS 1 Cut Off of 2020
The results for the exam came out on 23rd March 2020. The cut off this year was fairly similar to the standard and trend of the cut offs decided for previous years as well.

Conclusion:
For candidates that want to take the CDS examination in 2021, it is not as easy as simply learning for the examination but candidates have to go through a rigorous set of physical, mental, and medical examinations that could easily work against you. However, the written exam is considered comparatively easier than most.
It is most important for candidates to earnestly go through the eligibility criteria and try their best to make up for their shortcomings if they hope to crack this examination.
