UPSC Prelims 2022 notice will be given today, February 2, 2022, by the Union Public Service Commission. Aspirants must apply for the UPSC Prelims examination to sit for the UPSC Civil Services 2022 and UPSC Indian Forest Services (IFS). The announcement will be made on the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in. Upsconline.nic.in would be the first place to apply.
Aspirants will have around 20 days to complete the application form. The online application window will begin on upsconline.nic.in on February 22, 2022, and the deadline to apply will be February 22, 2022. Aspirants that meet the requirements must register and complete the application form.

UPSC CSE Prelims 2022 Notification
The Prelims 2022 exam will be held on June 5, 2022. Aspirants interested in the Civil Services and Indian Forest Services must take the combined prelims test and select the appropriate option when filling out the application form. Aspirants who pass the preliminary test must then sit for the UPSC Civil Services Mains and UPSC IFS Mains examinations, which will be held separately.
The UPSC Civil Services 2022 Mains will take place in September, while the Indian Forest Services Mains will take place in November. A graduate degree from a recognised university in the country is required for both exams. The examination also has a 32-year-old age limit.

UPSC CSE Prelims 2022
The Prelims examination consists of two papers for which the candidate must appear. The first paper is a General Awareness test in which students are asked questions about mathematics, history, Indian politics, current events, science, sports, and other topics. Another paper serves as a qualification and assesses overall aptitude. Candidates who do not pass the aptitude or CSAT exams are not eligible to take the Mains exam.

Educational Qualification
The body does not discriminate against applicants based on their degree grades or their rank. As a result, the IAS eligibility requirement or the criteria does not include a minimum qualifying percentage or marks, it requires you to have a degree. The following are the eligibility requirements or criteria in terms of educational qualifications:

UPSC Prelims 2022: Do’s and Don’ts
The recommended amount of time for an aspirant to devote to UPSC is 12 to 18 months. However, this is only applicable to candidates who can devote 10+ hours every day to their preparation. That is simply not practical when you work 8 hours a day, 5 or 6 days a week, plus some commute time.
On working days, a working applicant can devote roughly 4 hours to their preparation, and on their days off, 8 to 10 hours. As a result, the minimum recommended timeframe for a full-time working candidate is 24 to 36 months. This could even be extended to 48 months, depending on your comfort level. Do not be alarmed.

Time-Table
Answer writing is critical for a good UPSC CSE score. A working professional, unlike full-time aspirants, must make a trade-off here and cannot possibly choose to write answers every day.
Setting weekly goals, on the other hand, ensures that you get adequate practice and continue to improve over time. The same is true when it comes to practising essay writing. To ensure that you ace that paper, set aside 3 to 4 essays per month.
Set aside a day to study and practise writing for your option of choice. It is worth a total of 500 points and requires your undivided attention. Your optional syllabus should be completed in 9 to 12 months.
Choose What You Need to
Remember that you are already pressed for time as a working aspirant. The UPSC syllabus is an unending pit into which you will get lost if you are not careful. Each topic should have just one main source. You can always conduct additional research using the internet or a reference book.
You should not, however, spend too much time doing so. Stick to one daily, such as the Hindu, and one monthly compendium of current events. That will undoubtedly be plenty to cover all bases.
Making Notes
It is critical to revise multiple times to pass the Civil Services Examination. Working professionals do not have the luxury of reading the same complicated content over and over.
So, for the first time, make brief, concise notes for each topic. Simply reach for your notes whenever you need to review a topic. This will not only save you time and effort that could be better spent learning something new, but it will also help you understand the subject better than the majority of other aspirants.
