CUET(UG) 2022, which is the Common University Entrance Test, is the most important exam for students this year. Students from all around India, who completed their 12th or awaiting their results, will have to appear for the examination. There is no age limit for the exam. Whoever has passed their 12th with at least 40- 50% of marks shall apply for the exam. But you will need to check the guidelines for the university you aspire to apply to. They might have their eligibility criteria. Hence, you will need to research the programmes and institutes carefully.
This exam is for admission to all central universities in India. DU, BHU, and JMI, all of them are considering CUET scores as criteria for admission to bachelor’s degree programmes in the institute. Thus ensure you register for the Exam quickly.

There are three Sections in the design of the test:
Section IA – 13 Languages (As a medium and “Language”)
Section IB – 20 Languages
Section II – 27 Domain-Specific Subjects
Section III – General Test
CUET Exam preparation
Preparing for the examination can be flustering and annoying on many levels. But we have come up with a few tips for you to prepare for the examination.
- Ensure you read the newspaper every day. This will not only help you with improving your general knowledge but also your language skills.
- It will prepare you for your language test, where Reading Comprehension is one of the important aspects of the examination.
- For your domain subjects, you will only need to study from the NCERT Textbooks of the subject.
- Do not rote memorize anything, as it will not help you in any way.
- Sleep on time and do not stress about the examination as much.
- You will do well if you prepare well. Thus do not procrastinate and make certain that you study well.

What is a CUET Domain-Specific Subject?
The domain subjects of the CUET constitute the exam’s second half. This is intended for students who desire to pursue a variety of disciplines as part of their undergraduate studies. It is worth noting that there are 27 domain subjects. You may select up to six subjects. Choose your subjects in accordance with what your university and programmes require.
