CUET (UG) – 2022 (Common University Entrance Test) Under the Ministry of Education, will be used for admission to all Undergraduate programmes in all 45 central universities for the academic year 2022-23.

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) would provide a common platform and equal possibilities to candidates from all across the country, particularly those from rural and other remote locations, and will aid in the development of greater connections with universities. Candidates would be able to cover a wide expanse and participate in the admissions process to numerous Central Universities by taking a single examination.

CUET is only for those who want to apply for a Bachelor’s degree and not their Master’s degree.

Application Fees for CUET

For Slot-1: 09.00 a.m. to 12.15 p.m. (IST)-

Students can take upto 4 tests in slot 1. The fees would be as follows:

General (Unreserved)– ₹ 650/-

OBC (NCL)*/ EWS** – ₹ 600/-

SC/ST/ Third gender/ PwBD– ₹ 550/-

Centers Outside India – ₹ 3000/-

For Slot-2: 03.00 p.m. to 06.45 p.m. (IST)-

Students can take upto 5 tests in slot 2. The fees would be as follows:

General (Unreserved) – ₹ 650/-

OBC (NCL)*/ EWS** – ₹ 600/-

SC/ST/ Third gender/ PwBD –  ₹ 550/-

Centers Outside India – ₹ 3000/-

How to Apply for CUET ?

Procedures to be followed to register for the CUET examination.

  1. To register for CUET you need to go to their website and click on the “New Registration” button present there.
  2. Before applying for the CUET (UG) 2022 exam, students should carefully read the Information Bulletin.
  3. Next students have to fill in their personal details on the registration form. Personal details like their present address and permanent address.
  4. After that they have to choose their own password.
  5. Later students can preview their personal details. They can then verify their personal details and click on the “submit and send OTP to mobile” button to proceed further. (Students can also edit the details  by clicking on the “Edit Registration Details” button).
  6. The OTP verification process must be completed by each student. The OTP will be sent to the student’s registered mobile number or email address. After successfully verifying the OTP on their registered mobile number or email ID, students will obtain an application form number. It is recommended that students note down the application form number for future reference.
  7.  After successful OTP verification, students can login by using the application form number and password.
  8. Students who have already signed in, can continue the application form process by clicking on the “Continue Application form” button.
  9. To complete the application form students have to fill in their other personal details and click save, to complete the form.
  10. Students can preview or amend their personal information by clicking “Update Personal Form,” or they can go to the next section of the form by selecting “Proceed to Next Section.”
  11. Next, students have to fill out their educational details.
  12. Students have to fill their Matriculation/10th and Intermediate/12th academic qualifications and click on the “save” button to continue. (Students can modify the educational qualification by clicking on the “update educational form” button.)
  13. Following that, students must choose the name of the university and the curriculum offered by the chosen university. They can also deselect the selection by clicking on the Remove button next to each University and Programme that they chose.
  14. Students must choose a test paper or subject for the first and second slots of the examination. Before selecting a test paper or subject, students must read the university’s information bulletin carefully.
  15. They can either amend the test paper/subject choices (if necessary) or go to the next phase.
  16. Students can choose up to four options of their choice for the examination center. They can also change the examination center in the next section.
  17. Next comes the Upload section. To proceed to the next phase, students must upload the supporting documents for the details specified in the application form. Make sure you read the important information about the size and type of documents that will be submitted. Then, to begin uploading, click on the Start upload option.
  18. Once all of the files have been uploaded, click the Proceed to Preview Section button.
  19. Examine the entire form before paying the application fee. Note: Before submitting the final fee, the applicant must review all of the checklist items – your personal information, test paper selection and statement.
  20. Once all of the details have been validated, go through all of the uploaded documents.
  21. Now, in the particulars checklist to be verified, check all the checkboxes next to each field item to affirm your acknowledgement of all the information provided.
  22. Read the site message carefully before fee submission. Students will have to confirm their Email ID in order to proceed to pay the application fees.
  23. Students must download the confirmation of their application form for the future reference.
