On December 22, 2021, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) published the UPSC CDS notification 2022 for the Combined Defence Service Examination (II) at upsc.gov.in. The online registration process for 371 openings began on December 22, 2021, and will run until January 11, 2022, on upsc.gov.in. The CDS 1 Exam 2022 will be held on April 10th, 2022.
Every year, the UPSC holds the CDS Exam twice for applicants interested in joining the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Indian Air Force, or Officer’s Training Academy. Combined Defence Services 1 & 2 2022 Exam Dates
The CDS Exam is conducted twice a year, and the exam dates for 2022 have been set for April and September. The UPSC has announced the CDS exam dates for the CDS I and CDS II exams in 2022, as well as the UPSC Calendar 2022.

On December 22nd 2021, the official Combined Defence Services 2 Notification was released along with the announcement of new positions to be filled through the Combined Defence Services 2022 test. The Indian Military Academy, Indian Air Force, Indian Naval Academy, and Officers Training Academy each have 341 vacancies.

UPSC CDS 2022 Application Form
The Combined Defence Services I Exam 2022 online registration period will take place from December 22nd to January 11th, 2022. Online applications will be accepted until 6:00 p.m. on January 11, 2022.
UPSC CDS 2022 Application Form Fee
For all categories excluding SC/ST/Females, the registration fee for the Combined Defence Services Exam is Rs. 200. Candidates can pay their fee via online mode or offline mode.
Combined Defence Services Exam Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
A candidate should hold The Citizenship of India, subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or Tibetan refugee who had been migrated to India before January 01, 1962, with the intention of Permanent Settle, or An individual of Indian Origin migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire & Vietnam for permanent settle purpose in India.
Education Qualification
For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy – The candidate should have a graduation degree (any subject) from a recognized University or equivalent.
For Indian Naval Academy- The candidate should have completed their Graduation in Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
For Air Force Academy- The candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Age Limit
The candidate should fall in the age group of 20 to 24 years.
Marital Status & Sex
For Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, only Unmarried males are eligible to apply for CDS Exam
For Indian Air Force Academy, both married and unmarried males can apply, however marriage during the training is not permitted
For Officer Training Academy, unmarried males & females can apply for the CDS Exam.

UPSC CDS 2 2021 Result
Following the completion of the examination, the UPSC publishes the results. The UPSC announces the candidates’ scores and the minimum cutoff scores for certain positions. Aspirants can check the results on UPSC’s website after they are released.

Conclusion
The UPSC conducts the Combined Defence Services 2022 test, which is a two-tier national exam. To be considered for the services, candidates must pass both exams. The UPSC publishes a merit list depending on the results of the examinations.
The exam is conducted in an offline mode and consists of 300 objective-type questions. Aspirants must select the appropriate option from the list of options. The exam is scheduled to last two hours. For each incorrect response marked by the candidates, a negative marking of 1/3 is applied.
