Are the UPSC Civil Services Pre Online Forms Different for IAS and IFS?
IAS, IFS, and IPS are three major departments under the All India Services which are allotted on the basis of examinations. For the registration process, the forms are similar for all these positions, and the only difference is separate applications for prelims and mains exam. The positions can be chosen later as per the score and rank achieved in the exams.
IAS refers to Indian Administrative Services and the officers in this department are responsible for implementing and working on the policies and regulations imparted by the government of India. IFS refers to the Indian Forest Service and the officers in this position are engaged in the maintenance and conservation of forests, the environment, and wildlife species.
Conclusion
Other than IPS, IAS and IFS are the most sought after positions that can be acquired through the UPSC civil services examination.
