UPSC Pre Online Form Fee Payment
Fee payment and registration are different for each part of the exam, i.e prelims exam, and mains exam. Following is the fee structure for payment:
- For the General and OBC category, the prelims exam fee is INR 100 and for the mains exam is INR 200.
- The females, SC, ST, and persons with benchmark disabilities are exempted from the fee payment.
Online payment can be made through net banking, debit card, or credit card on the online registration portal.
Offline payment can be made by depositing cash at the SBI branch through a bank challan. If the offline payment mode is chosen during registration, a pay-in-slip is generated, which is to be presented at the SBI branch during cash payment. The pay-in-slip is applicable till a day before the registration portal closes.
Withdrawing the UPSC Pre Online form Registration
The candidate can withdraw his application if he/she wishes to do so for any reason. The withdrawal will be done on the same official website of UPSC in the following procedural steps:
- Going on the what’s new section on the official UPSC website
- Under the tab Withdrawal of Application, select the exam application for preliminary
- The candidate will go through all instructions related to cancellation and agree to any requirements.
- The registration id of the candidate will be entered
- Details like name, date of birth, parents’ name, email address, and phone number have to be filled in for verification.
- The withdrawal process is complete after clicking on the withdraw, or I agree, or Yes button.
Are the UPSC Civil Services Pre Online Forms Different for IAS and IFS?
IAS, IFS, and IPS are three major departments under the All India Services which are allotted on the basis of examinations. For the registration process, the forms are similar for all these positions, and the only difference is separate applications for prelims and mains exam.
