BODMAS (Bracket, Order, Division, Multiplication, Addition, and Subtraction)
The basic way to start solving simplification approximation questions is to understand BODMAS. This is a basic sequence of solving such a type of question to find a correct answer.
B- Brackets
O- Order (Powers, Roots, etc)
D- Division
M- Multiplication
A- Addition
S- Subtract
Step 1: First of all you should start by solving brackets. There are three different types of brackets and their order in solving them too. First (common bracket), secondly {curly bracket} and at last [rectangular bracket].
Step 2: After this, you have to solve exponents. For example, power, roots, etc.
Step 3: Then you should start solving division followed by multiplication. This should be done from left to right.
Step 4: Lastly you should source addition and subtraction from left to right.
