IRMS UPSC CSE Eligibility Criteria
Here is the eligibility criteria to be able to give the exam:
# An candidate must have reached the age of 21 and must not have reached the age of 32.
# The upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST and OBC. For SC/ST it is 5 years and for OBC it is 3 years.
IRMS 2022 Selection Process
The IRMS test date has been provisionally set for 2022. Civil Service Examination and Indian Engineering Services are used to hire employees for the Indian Railway Management Service, Indian Railway Traffic Service, Indian Railway Accounts Service, Indian Railway, and Indian Railway Personnel Service.

IRMS Selection Method
Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and Non-technical Entry for candidates who are not engineers but are prepared for civil services are the five subjects for which the IRMS test is required.
The exam is normally divided into three stages: the preliminary exam, the main examination, and the personality test.
Prelims are mainly objective tests.
The mains test will be a traditional or subjective exam, and candidates who qualify for the Prelim exam will only be eligible to undertake the mains exam.
Following that, there’ll be a personality test followed by an interview round in which they will assess the applicant’s expertise such as exam specifics, management, and overall attention. Candidates who have passed the prelims and mains exams will only be qualified for that stage.
After passing all three steps, a medical exam will be administered.
Following the completion of all rounds, the final merit will be determined and departments will be assigned.
