In 2021 each seller sold mouse at profit of 25% and in 2020 each seller sold shirt at 30% loss. Find the difference between total amount earned by Kunal by selling shirt in 2020 and total amount earned by Sonam selling mouse in 2021.
Data Analysis and Interpretation
Correct Option is Rs.624
Solution:Let cost price of all mouse with kunal and Mohan in 2020 be Rs. ’x’. And cost price of all mouse with Tashu & Sonam in 2020 and all mouse with Kunal in 2021 =Rs ’y’. Cost price all mouse with Tashu in 2021= Rs. 400 Cost price of shirt with Tashu in 2020 & cost price of shirt with Mohan in 2020 be 3z & 2z respectively. Cost price of all mouse with Mohan in 2021 = 400-150=Rs. 250 The sum of cost price of all the mouse with kunal in both years and cost price of mouse with Mohan in 2020 is 1200 So, y+400+x=1200 x+y=800…..(a) And y-x=x-250 2x-y=250 ….(b) From (a) & (b) x = Rs. 350 and y = Rs.450 Cost price of shirt with Sonam in 2020 = 3/5×600=Rs.360 Cost price of shirt with kunal in 2020 = 40/100×450=Rs. 180 In 2020 sum of the cost price of all the shirt with four sellers was Rs. 200 more than cost price of Iron with Mohan in 2020 So, 3z+180+2z+360=2600 5x=2050 x=412 Cost price of shirt with Tashu in 2020 = 3×412=Rs.1236 Cost price of shirt with Mohan in 2020 = 2×412=Rs.824
