The final result of the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) examinations 2021 has been announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on its official website, upsc.gov.in. The final merit list was compiled using the results of the written exam, which took place from July 16 to 18, and the interview, which took place from November 29 to December 1.

UPSC 2021 IES ISS Final Result

UPSC has announced 15 IES vacancies and 11 ISS vacancies. The IES exam was topped by Abhay Joshi, who was followed by Trishla Singh and Aarti Garg. Amit Kumar secured the 1st rank in the ISS exam, followed by Arka Mondal who scored 2nd rank and Maneesh Kumar who scored 3rd rank.

Abhay Joshi Wiki

He is a native of Almora. Daya Joshi, his mother, works in the watershed division. Father Lalit Mohan Joshi, on the other hand, has died. Abhay went to Doon Public School for his primary school and St Paul’s School for his secondary education.

Following that, he pursued his civil service education while working for 2 years in a privately owned company after receiving Honours and Master’s degrees in Economics from Delhi University. This is his 2nd UPSC try. Abhay Joshi spoke about his mother and instructors as sources of motivation.

Trishla Singh Wiki

She is employed with the American Express Corporation. Her persistent and prudent efforts are benefiting the field. After receiving an IES notice, she will be posted to the Delhi Ministry of Finance. She is committed to serving as the Ministry’s Additional Director.

As per her, all IAS officers would attend the training at Mussoorie Institute. Trishla has worked diligently and wisely to achieve her life’s objectives. Her courage, commitment, and mindfulness have allowed her to achieve this position and splendour. Dr. Kaushal Kumar is Trishla’s father’s name.

Her father is a professor at Dehradun’s DAV College’s Commerce Department. However, it is her parents’ thinking and efforts that have enabled her to reach for the stars. Tripta Singh is her mother’s name. Tripta Singh is a physics teacher at Dehradun’s DAV Inter College.

Indian Economic Service (IES)

The Indian Economic Service (IES) exam will consist of 6 papers in total. Both IES and ISS share the General English and General Studies courses. All other IES papers will be subjective in nature. Aspirants should be aware that all IES exam papers will be of the traditional (essay) form. Answers to all question papers must be written in English.

Indian Statistical Service (ISS)

The Indian Statistical Service (ISS) is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to screen applicants for the service. Aspirants will be chosen based on their performance in the All India Entrance Examination. To pass the Indian Statistical Service (ISS) test, candidates must take six papers.
