Prelims
The Preliminary Exam is the first stage of the SBI PO 2022 Recruitment process, and candidates must pass it to be considered for the SBI PO Mains Exam.
#Like any other bank or PO exam, the SBI PO Prelims Exam will be divided into three sections: English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability.
#In the SBI PO Prelims Exam 2022, there will be a total of 100 Objective type questions.
#The exam will last for one hour (20 minutes for each section).
#SBI PO Prelims is a qualifying examination, and marks will not be taken into account when determining the merit list.

Mains
The Objective and Descriptive Sections of the SBI PO Mains Exam are discussed in detail below:
#The objective paper will take 3 hours to complete, while the descriptive paper will take 30 minutes.
#There will be four sections in the objective section: reasoning and computer aptitude, data analysis and interpretation, general/economic/banking awareness, and English language.
#Along with the above-mentioned online test, a descriptive paper will be administered, which will include two questions.
#For each question tried incorrectly by a contestant in the SBI PO Mains Exam, 0.25 points will be removed. If a candidate in the exam leaves a question unattempted or blank, no marks will be deducted.

Interview Process
A candidate who passes both the Prelims and Mains Exams for SBI PO 2022 will be invited to a GD-PI session, where they will be interviewed by a panel of selectors about their previous experience and questions about General Knowledge and the Banking Sector.
An aspirant must pass the Interview Process which is the final round to be considered for the SBI PO 2022 Exam. The Bank will determine the cut-offs and qualifying marks for the interview round, and the following are the marks assigned to these rounds: Group discussion/Group meeting is worth 20 points, while the interview is worth 30 points.
Final Selection
After a candidate has completed Personal Interviews, the State Bank of India will compile a merit list based on the candidate’s performance in the Mains Exam and Interview Round. The ultimate cut-off or final marks will be determined based on the aspirants’ scores and the number of openings, seats or the vacancy available. State Bank of India shall provide an Appointment Letter and intimation to all candidates who meet the cut-off range and vacancy for the position of Probationary Officer.
