The first official information related to the Civil Service (IAS) test is the UPSC notice. The Civil Services (IAS) notice is issued by UPSC and then the IAS exam process begins. UPSC CSE 2021 Notification Key Points
The notification of UPSC Civil Services IAS Prelims 2021 was postponed. Although the reasons for the delay are unknown, the commission announced that the note will be published on upsc.gov.in in the near future. All the applicants are expected to keep a track of the new UDPs on the official website. Previously, as per the annual calendar, the notice was to be published on 10th February 2021.
Furthermore, the commission has reported that the UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2021 Exam date will not be changed. Candidates will shortly be eligible to register for the same application on the official UPSC website.

Update on Decisions
On 8 February, the Supreme Court requested the centre to consider granting UPSC Civil Services aspirants one-time age limit relaxation, including applicants who had exhausted their last attempt in the 2020 exam due to Covid 19. The case is to be heard in court again later.
The central government decided at the February 5 hearing to offer one more shot only to those contestants who participated in their last attempt at the 2020 review and are not age-barred. The centre was not in favour of offering relief for applicants who have met their 2021 test age cap. The Center has explained, however, that it is prepared that the candidate’s age limit, however, will not be waived.
Online applications for UPSC Civil Services IAS Prelims 2021 will end on 2 March 2021. The commission has agreed to hold UPSC IAS Prelims 2021 around the country on 27 June 2021. In due course, the admission cards for the same one will be uploaded. Candidates applying for the test should ensure that all qualifying criteria for entry to the examination are fulfilled.

UPSC Civil Services IAS Prelims 2021 Requirements for Eligibility
- Educational qualification: The applicant must hold a degree from either of the universities incorporated in India or other educational institutions through an Act of the Federal or State Legislature.

UPSC CSE 2021 Form Date and UPSC CSE Syllabus
The notice of the UPSC 2021 review will be issued on February 10 and the last date of the IAS 2021 submission will be March 3, 2021. From September 17, the IAS Main Examination 2021 will be carried out.

Exam Pattern for UPSC IAS Civil Services 2021
The Preliminary Test shall consist of two objective form papers (multiple choice questions) and shall bear a limit of 400 marks in each of them.
Subjects referred to in Section II(A). The object of this examination is to act only as a screening test; the marks obtained in the preliminary examination by candidates who have been deemed eligible for admission to the main examination shall not be taken into account in order to assess their final order of merit.
On the basis of the qualifying marks in Mains and Interview, the final list of candidates will be drawn up. In view of their ranks in the test and the preferences shared by them for the different services and positions, candidates would be assigned to the different services.
