Due to the high rising covid situation, the UPSC committee has chosen to postpone the UPSC EPFO exam, which was scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, May 9th, 2021. The Commission held a meeting for taking the pandemic into the idea so, as under rapidly changing circumstances, an aggregate situation that is enforced due to pandemic.

After the meeting that was held on April 19, 2021, the committee has taken this decision and is soon going to release the new dates for the UPSC EPFO Examination. UPSC EPFO 2021 Exam Postponed 

The Enforcement Officer – Accounts Officer in the Ministry of Labour and Employment gets recruited through the UPSC EPFO exam, conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.

In 2021, May 9th was the date when the UPSC EPFO  was scheduled but now it is postponed till further notice. Keeping everyone’s health in mind and going by the lockdown precautions, the commission has decided to not conduct the examination.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has postponed the exam which was to be conducted on May 9th, 2021 and the official dates will be released soon for the fulfilling of Enforcement Officer/ Accounts Officer aka EO/ AO posts in the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization.

Supposed Dates

The supposed date of downloading the admit card for the UPSC EPFO examination was issued from 16th April 2021 to 9th May 2021. But, the examination was supposed to be held on 9th May 2021 is referred now till further notice. The results date will also be declared by the official committee.

The Admit Card was issued from 16th April to 9th May 2021 and candidates can download their admit cards following this method:

# As you scroll down you will notice the ‘Admit Cards’ tab below the ‘ Apply Online tab.

# You will be redirected to a page that will show you the ‘E-Admit Cards’ page.

# Please click on ‘E-Admit cards for various recruitment posts’.

# Then, it will again redirect you to another page ‘EPFO 2021’, please click on that.

# It will ask you to enter your details and click on submit.

# Your EPFO admit card will be displayed on the screen.

# Download it and take a print out for future reference.

Since the meeting that was held on 19th April’s morning, the news is flooded with the news that the exam was going to be postponed. “As and when dates are decided for the deferred tests/interviews, it will be ensured that candidates are given a notice of at least 15 days,” the UPSC said.

The Commission held a special meeting on April 19, 2021, to review

the situation prevailing due to COVID-19 pandemic.

 

The Commission considered rapidly changing circumstances, health

considerations, lockdown restrictions including social distancing norms and

aggravating situation enforced due to the pandemic. The Commission has

decided that it will not be possible to conduct examinations and interviews

for the present.

 

The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EO/AO), Recruitment

Test, 2020 scheduled to be held on May 09, 2021 therefore stands deferred.

 

The Personality Tests (Interviews) of the Indian Economic Service/Indian

Statistical Service Examination, 2020 (scheduled from 20th-23rd April 2021);

the Civil Services Examination, 2020 (scheduled from 26th April-18th June,

2021) and the Recruitment Tests are also deferred till further notice.

The dates for the Interviews and Recruitment Test, where candidates and advisers are required to travel from all parts of the country, will be reviewed from time to time. Revised schedules of the same will be notified on

the website of the UPSC.

 

Any other decision of the Commission in respect of the Examinations,

Recruitments and Interviews will be promptly made available on the

Commission’s website.

As and when dates are decided for the deferred Tests/Interviews, it

will be ensured that candidates are given a notice of at least 15 days.
