Endogenic is considered to be one of the crucial topics under the Geography for UPSC that IAS aspirants should cover.  What are endogenic forces? How would you define endogenic forces? The forces coming from inside the earth are called endogenous forces. Endogenic forces sometimes cause rapid movements. And at other times it produces slow movements. These forces are also known as constructive forces, as they provide relief effects on the Earth’s surface.	These forces are also known as destructive forces, as they often result in the loss of existing types of land by weathering and erosion.
Examples include volcanic eruptions, earthquakes.	Examples include glaciers, rivers, winds.

1. Take the help of an atlas when learning geography. Using the graphic representation of maps to determine the positions of coasts, counties, etc.
2. Although it is rooted in the arts and humanities, geography is mainly a science. You must therefore plan for it like any other science subject; which means that one must always look at the ‘whys and hows’ of a definition. There is always a reason behind every kind of response. It is, therefore, necessary to research the explanation for this.
