Aishwarya Sheoran is a former Miss India finalist, an IAS officer, and a model from the city of Churu, Rajasthan.
She was born on March 11, 1997, in a well-settled family in Churu, Rajasthan, India. Her father’s name is Ajay Kumar, who is the commanding officer of NCC Telangana Battalion Karimnagar. Her mother’s name is Suman Sheoran, who is a housewife. She also has a sibling and that is her younger brother, named Aman Sheoran, who is currently pursuing his studies.
Aishwarya Sheoran’s Educational Qualification
Aishwarya completed her schooling at Sanskriti School in Chaitanyapuri, New Delhi. From her school time, she was an intelligent, hardworking student who worked extra hard to achieve many more things in life. She got a score of 97.5% in her 12th standard which helped her a lot in her future. Because of her extraordinary marks and great scores, she admitted herself to the top colleges in New Delhi, i.e., SRCC – Sri Ram College of Commerce, which is the best yet the top college in New Delhi under Delhi University.
She chose her subject as Economics Honors in her graduation. From her childhood, she was inclined towards modelling and fashion and wanted to become one of the tops or well-known models in the industry.
She also said this in an interview, “My mother named me Aishwarya after Mrs. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan because she wanted me to become Miss India, and I was eventually chosen in the top 21 finalists for Miss India.”

“Over the past few days, a lot has been written and said about my UPSC journey. I know how it feels to be on the other side when you are preparing or deciding to start. For all those inspired by my success, here’s a heartfelt and honest description of what I did and feel in the past two years”.
Initial Phase
All she said for the first phase of her preparation for the examination is that she decided to not give up on her beauty sleep. According to her, a night of good sleep is something all of us require in order to keep our mind and body stable and fit at the same time. And with her own research, she came up with the idea of the 10+8+6 formula, i.e., 10 hours of study, 8 hours of sound sleep, and 6 hours in doing everything else.
Second Phase – Revision
According to Aishwarya, “The second half was devoted completely to the revision of at least three books which I had read in the previous phase and two for current affairs. I changed the way I made current affairs notes. Now, I first made them from Insight current affairs, then go on Indian Express app to see any essay punchlines from editorials and finally go through The Hindu to see if there’s anything left – all in 40 minutes.”
Optional Subject Chosen by Aishwarya Sheoran
The optional subject chosen by Aishwarya Sheoran for her UPSC examinations was Economics. She chose this subject because this subject was what she completed her graduation in.
So, according to Sheoran, “From August to October, my main focus shifted to optional and I did no new GS topics. Only revised the ones already read along with current affairs. I also started doing one chapter each of polity, history, geography, etc along with government schemes.”

Aishwarya was always a bright student from her childhood and it was her dream to crack the UPSC examinations and be an IAS officer, which she accomplished after great success.
