Ansar, the youngest IAS officer of the country is the son of Yonus Sheikh Ahmad, who works as an autorickshaw driver in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra, India.

His mother is the second wife of his father out of the three and she is a field worker and his brother is a school dropout who left his schooling while he was in standard VII. And after that, he started helping his family and helped his brother, Ansar in his preparation for the UPSC examination by working in the garage.

Ansar belong to an extremely poor family and from his very childhood, he has worked extremely hard in order to earn the bread and butter for his family. His family has worked hard enough to earn enough money for a day so that they could feed themselves properly. He belonged to a family where education was never a priority and all that he had seen from his childhood was that he saw his father working hard for his family and his mother and step-mothers working in the field to support their family.

But in spite of all the difficulties in his life, he managed to study for his examination and scored an All India Rank of 361 in that.

Ansar had always been a bright student and he studied extremely hard from his childhood days in order to gain as much knowledge as possible in the examination and score the best marks possible.

Before setting a record for being the youngest IAS officer in the country, Ansar had scored a percentage of 91% in his X board examinations. After that, he scored 73% in his graduation and pursued a degree in Political Science from Fergusson College, Pune.

He always loved studying and therefore, at the young age of 21, he decided to take coaching for the UPSC examinations and within a year, he managed to clear the examination with an AIR-361. His family, though being poor, had to carry out all the expenses of Ansar while he decided to take coaching for the UPSC but with his results, he proved his hard work to everyone.
