IAS Sanjay Khatri Biography
IAS Sanjay Khatri was born in Barmer, Rajasthan. Born on 27 January 1981 he completed his schooling in a village and studied there till 8th standard. To continue his education, he moved to Jaipur. There he completed his inter and then got a BA degree from JRR University and passed it in the first division. After that, he went to Rajasthan University to complete his LLB. With his high spirits he got selected for Rajasthan Administrative Service and for two years he was posted in Pali and Jalore.
While serving for Rajasthan, he joined the IAS or Indian Administrative Service. He belonged to the 2009 IAS batch and then took over as the DM of Ghazipur after 7 years of service and was sworn in in March 2016. He had worked as a trainee in Orai (Jalaun). After that he was given a post as a Joint Magistrate in Pratapgarh where he served for one and half years and after that became the CDO Jhansi.

IAS Sanjay Khatri: His Works for Bright Education
Serving as the Administrative Officer, Sanjay Khatri has done many works and brought many changes under his locality. Sanjay Khatri has taken steps in order to improve education in government and council schools. He started the Nai Disha program when he served Ghazipur. This provision is about taking bright and students who are interested to study in Singapore and provide quality education.
With his vision and many people’s efforts many villages in the city have been able to achieve education and became open defecation free under the PM’s program of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. He also participates in many social programs, may it be blood donation or cleanliness programs. He has also participated actively in fitness and music programs which are his favourite.

IAS Sanjay Khatri: Believe in Yourself
India appoints 5000 IAS officers and Sanjay Khatri has been one of the 5000 heroes who are selflessly working to make this country a better place. 5000 IAS officers, count quite small because the population of India is huge and we might be shocked that there are a few people working for the whole country. Sanjay Khatri believed that, it is not the number that matters, but the work that decides. To become an IAS officer is considered to be a great achievement in India, because when you want to serve the society, the society automatically gives you the respect and power to continue it.
Some of His Works
#During the tenure of the BSP government in Jalaun as a trainee officer, Sanjay had raided the mining syndicate. This syndicate was directly linked to Ponty Chadha.
#Actually, some officers of the mining department were attacked by the mining mafia of the district. After this, the then DM Rajasekhar handed over the leadership of the action to Sanjay Khatri.
#Weapons and a huge amount of cash were recovered from the hideout where Sanjay raided. Despite all the recommendations and pressures, Sanjay did not back down in any way.
#While living as Jhansi CDO, Sanjay tried to give Vikas Bhavan the look of a multinational company. On seeing the mess, he used to launch a cleanliness drive with the employees of the entire office.
#During the Lok Sabha elections, a local domineering mafia in Mauranipur, Jhansi was chased away by Sanjay after getting information about the irregularities in the elections. Then the domineering mafia of Mauranipur jumped from the car and escaped through the streets.
